Medical imaging services...

The introduction of medical imaging/radiology is one invention that revolutionised the health care system in contemporary times. Whether it is the Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI), the Computed Tomography (CT) Scan, or any other, these cutting-edge technologies, which enable medical practitioners see the inner parts of a patient without cutting the patient, assure correct diagnosis for many ailments.
Due to our quest to deliver accurate and dependable diagnoses to patients, within the context of the best practices, which is critical to achieving best health outcome, we have deployed full range of cutting-edge Siemens and General Electric (GE) medical imaging equipment.
These Include...

Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to form pictures of the anatomy and the physiological processes of the body. MRI scanners use strong magnetic fields, magnetic field gradients, and radio waves to generate images of the organs in the body.
MRI can be used to detect brain tumors, traumatic brain injury, developmental anomalies, multiple sclerosis, stroke, dementia, infection, and the causes of headache.

Computed Tomography (CT) Scan

Computed tomography or CT, refers to a computerized x-ray imaging procedure in which a narrow beam of x-rays is aimed at a patient and quickly rotated around the body, producing signals that are processed by the machine's computer to generate cross-sectional images—or “slices”—of the body.
CT scans can detect bone and joint problems, like complex bone fractures and tumors. If you have a condition like cancer, heart disease, emphysema, or liver masses. CT scans can spot it or help doctors see any changes. They show internal injuries and bleeding, such as those caused by a car accident.

Ultrasonography(Ultrasound)

A procedure that uses high-energy sound waves to look at tissues and organs inside the body. The sound waves make echoes that form pictures of the tissues and organs on a computer screen (sonogram). Ultrasonography may be used to help diagnose diseases, such as cancer.
Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. It is used to help diagnose the causes of pain, swelling and infection in the body's internal organs and to examine a baby in pregnant women and the brain and hips in infants.

Digital X-Ray

Digital radiography (DR) is an advanced form of x-ray inspection which produces a digital radiographic image instantly on a computer. This technique uses x-ray sensitive plates to capture data during object examination, which is immediately transferred to a computer without the use of an intermediate cassette.
While traditional X-rays are considered safe, digital X-rays produce 80% less radiation than traditional. This means it is highly unlikely you would develop issues from occasional traditional radiation exposure, but it is even less likely with the process used in digital X-rays.

Digital Mammography

Digital mammography, also called full-field digital mammography (FFDM), is a mammography system in which the X-ray film is replaced by solid-state detectors that convert X-rays into electrical signals. These detectors are similar to those found in digital cameras.
Digital mammograms offer the highest-quality images, giving radiologists a crisp, clear view of the breast. Unlike traditional film mammograms, a digital mammogram can be lightened or darkened to provide the best possible view of breast tissue.

Electrocardiogram(ECG)

An electrocardiogram is a simple, painless test that measures your heart's electrical activity. It's also known as an ECG or EKG. Every heartbeat is triggered by an electrical signal that starts at the top of your heart and travels to the bottom. Heart problems often affect the electrical activity of your heart.
An ECG records the electrical activity of your heart at rest. It provides information about your heart rate and rhythm, and shows if there is enlargement of the heart due to high blood pressure (hypertension) or evidence of a previous heart attack (myocardial infarction).

Special Investigations

Intravenous Urography (IVU), Hysterosalpingography (HSG), Barium Enema, Barium Swallow, Barium Meal, Retrograde Urethrogram, Micturating Cyto Urethrogram (MCU), etc.
